Sometimes we just need to pause in prayer & instead of asking God for a long laundry list of things, simply seek His heart. His plans are far better.
As I was singing to Him today, this song from YEARS ago just rolled right off my tongue & it reminded me to pause and say “I love you, Lord.” We all have needs, wants & desires, but sometimes we just need to stop seeking His hand and start seeking His heart. ❤️
We need to tell Him we love Him, not just for what He can do for us, but for Who He Is! When we seek His heart - He will show us more of what He wants for us, and not just what we want for ourselves. His plans are always better than ours. We may not understand, and they may not “seem better” at the time, but we don’t have to figure it all out, we just need to Trust Him. He is God!
